Itinerary
Meet and assist upon arrival at Cairo International Airport then transfer and check in to the hotel where you will refresh. You will then leave on an excursion to visit Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo), one of the oldest areas of Cairo where you’ll get to explore its outstanding highlights like The Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue (where the well of Moses, the place where the mother of Moses put her son in a basket and placed him on the river to save him from the Pharaoh). You will have lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Cairo.
Early in the morning, visit the only remaining wonder among the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramid of the King Cheops, and the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus, as well as the great Sphinx at Giza plateau. Then you will visit the Egyptian Museum which exhibits a collection of over 120,000 treasured masterpieces, dating back to the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman period including the marvelous collection of the young King Tutankhamen. You will have lunch in between then transfer to Giza Railway station to take the sleeper train to Aswan. Kindly note that your ticket train is inclusive of dinner and breakfast.
Meet and assist at Aswan railway station then embarkation if available before 12 o’clock. You will then leave for an excursion tour to Aswan where you will discover one of the most important cities in Egypt starting at the with High Dam, an engineering miracle constructed in 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual Nile floods, which is also an important source of water and electricity. You will then head to the Philae Temple of Goddess ISIS, one of the greatest temples in Egypt which occupies about a quarter of the island and has huge complete pylons and beautiful surroundings. You will visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. It is believed that this obelisk belonged to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of King Tuthmosis II. You will return to the boat for lunch, and enjoy some time of relaxation and shower at the cabin. In the afternoon you will enjoy a sailing expedition on the Nile by the Felucca around Elephantine Island then onward to visit the Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens known for its rich array of subtropical, exotic, and rare plants and Elephantine island which is the largest island of Aswan area. Elephantine is Greek for elephant and it is believed that the island got this name because it was a major ivory trading center. You will then be driven back to the boat to have dinner and overnight Aswan.
You will depart on a 3-hour drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel via air condition van. Upon arrival, you will see the Colossi Temple of Abu Simbel initially built by King Ramses II and recently saved from inundation of the Nile waters. The most spectacular aspect of this temple is its setting on the solid rock above the banks of the Nile River. It is believed that the axis of the temple was positioned by the ancient Egyptian architects in such a way that every year on February 22nd and October 22nd, the rays of the sun would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the sculptures on the back wall, except for the statue of Ptah, the god connected with the Underworld, who always remained in the dark. These dates are allegedly the King's birthday and coronation day. After lunch on the boat, you will proceed to Kom Ombo Temple located in Kom Ombo town, 45km north of Aswan. This temple was built on a hillside overlooking the Nile, and was constructed in the Ptolemaic roman era for the worship of two god’s, Horus to the right and Sobek to the left, that why the temple has two corridors and two sanctuaries as opposed to other temples which have one corridor and one sanctuary. You will then sail to Edfu as you enjoy afternoon tea. You will have dinner and the Galabeya party on board. Overnight in Edfu.
After breakfast, you will visit the Edfu temple located 123 km north of Aswan on the West Bank of the Nile. It dates back to the Ptolemaic Period and was dedicated to the worship of god. It is one of the most beautiful Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge splendid structure that blends Paranoiac and Greek architecture. Its grandeur competes with Luxor temples and is the second largest temple after Karnak temples. You will then sail to Luxor, having your lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor.
Early morning tour to the western bank of Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings where you will see the well preserved tombs belonging to the kings of the new kingdom including the great ruler Ramses III, Mernptah and the child King Tut Ankh Amun. You will visit the El-Deir el Bahari Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18thDynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C). She is the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. You will pass by the Colossi of Memnon which are remains of the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. Back to the boat and get the lunch on board, then in the afternoon, you will visit Karnak temple which is among a series of temples built in different reigns. It is the most contributed and functioning temple in the world and the greatest example of worship in the history dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.
After breakfast, you will check out and be driven to Luxor bus station where you will take the bus to Alexandria. Lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight in Alexandria.
After breakfast, you will board a private air-conditioned vehicle for a drive to discover the beauty of Alexandria and the Greco Roman civilization. You will first get to visit the Catacombs of Kom El-Shouqafa, the largest known Roman burial site in Egypt, with three tiers of tombs that could accommodate up to 300 corpses. It was converted to be a public cemetery. You will proceed to the Pillar of Pompey, composed of a single block approximately 25m of red granite column from Aswan. it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesareum. You will then move to the Roman Theatre which was discovered after over 30 years of excavation. Here you will get to see many things left behind by the Romans which include this well-preserved theatre with galleries, sections of mosaic-flooring, and marble seats for up to 800 spectators. You can then have lunch at a sea-view restaurant. After lunch, you will get to see the Qaitbay Citadel from outside, considered one of the most important defensive strong holds not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast and is located where the light house once stood. Your last stop of our tour will be the Library of Alexandria, the largest most significant library of the ancient world, located where the old library of Alexandria once stood. You will then be driven back to Cairo for the final transfer.

BOOKING POLICY
We require a low down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, making your booking a risk-free investment.
TIPPING
It is a customary attitude of expressing one's satisfaction for good services rendered to him by staff on duty. We advise that if you are willing to offer it, this would be great and if not, you are not obliged to do it.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:
- From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
- Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
